Who Joins ACC?
Counselors working from a wide range of professional perspectives that value creative, expressive, and complementary therapies are invited to join. Our members include mental health and community agency counselors, private practitioners, counselor educators, school counselors, students, retired counselors, and professionals new to the counseling field. Some of our members also hold licensure/certification in the creative arts including art therapists, music therapists, play therapists, and dance therapists, or other advanced specialties in creative and complementary therapies such as EMDR, hypnosis, and TFT, to name a few.
